The Koenigsegg CCR is the successor of the CC8S, based on that vehicle, this model has more power and better performance. A titanium exhaust and twin screw supercharger help raise the power to 806hp at 6900 rpm. Torque is also increased to 920 nm at 5700 rpm.
Currently the third fastest production car in the world, behind the Bugatti Veyron and the SSC Ultimate Aero TT, the CCR has a 0-100km/h time of just 3.2 seconds, and can run the quarter mile in 9.9 seconds.
Brakes have been upgraded at the rear to match the 6 piston calipers at the front, while the front wheels have also been slightly raised to 19″ x 9.5″, with the rears staying at 20″ x 12.5″ giving the car plenty of contact surface area for maximum traction.
The base price of a CCR is a cool US$590,000 in the United States, but to pick a right hand drive model registered in Australia will cost you a tad over AU$2,000,000
